Starting in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.0, users can now define and edit dynamic dates from the report filter, and from the stand-alone filter using MicroStrategy Web.

Starting in Strategy Web 9.3.0, users can now define and edit dynamic dates from the report filter, and from the stand-alone filter using Strategy Web. Previously, this feature was only available through Strategy Desktop.

To define a dynamic date in a report filter, click on the "Switch to Dynamic Date" link on the calendar button pop-up. See screen shot below.

Clicking this link will open the Dynamic Date editor, from which the user can choose a dynamic date in a similar manner as they would in Strategy Desktop.

Dynamic Dates in stand-alone reports can be carried over to Report Services Documents. If the report is added as a dataset, the specified dynamic date will carry over in document execution for this dataset.
