What is Dynamic HTML mode setting in Web Preference

How do I enable Dynamic HTML in  Strategy Web 9.x?

In Strategy Web, you have the option to run Report Services documents using Dynamic HTML.   This option is found in Web Preferences at the Project and User levels.

What additional features are enabled when using DHTML mode in Strategy Web 9.x?

Turning on DHTML mode for Report Services Documents enables:

- Drag and drop functionality
- Document creation through the 'Create Document' link at the top of the window
- Dialog box option screens which allow you to use a dialog box interface to adjust various report settings and/or perform functions in your report or document (e.g. the 'Advanced Formatting' dialog)
- Right mouse-click menu options including drilling
- Drop-down menus
- Move, copy, or rename reports, documents, or folders while browsing through folder pages (in list or large icon view)
- Automatic submission of selections on pull-down lists in a variety of places in the interface ('automatic page by' setting required for page by selections)
- Outline mode for reports
- Grid header locking
- Shortcut metrics
- Tree style hierarchy prompt
- Date prompts with a calendar picker

Note: If you have DHTML enabled, many option screens appear as movable dialog boxes (similar to Windows or Macintosh dialog boxes). If you do not have DHTML enabled, option screens appear as panels that cannot be repositioned.
