SYMPTOM
The Answer dynamically option is not available in the Links editor when trying to configure the prompt answer method in Report Services Document in Strategy 9.x.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In Strategy Tutorial project, create a prompt choosing the Choose from an attribute element list option;
2. Create a simple report with an attribute and a metric and place the newly created prompt on its filter area.
3. Create a document from scratch.
4. Place a text box on the Document Header section and type any sample text in.
5. Right-click the text box and choose the Edit Links option.
6. Mark Run this report or document option in the Link editor and choose the report created in the step 2.
7. Select the prompt created in the step 1, click on the drop-down list right below and see following available options:

- Answer with the same prompt from the source;
- Prompt user;
- Answer with an empty answer;
- Answer dynamically;
- Use Default Answer.
8. Notice that Answer dynamically is one of the available methods for answering the selected prompt.
9. To any other selected prompt type, the Answer dynamically option will NOT be displayed as in the example below (where Qualify on an attribute was the prompt type chosen):

- Answer with the same prompt from the source;
- Prompt user;
- Answer with an empty answer;
- Use Default Answer.
CAUSE
This is working as designed once the Answer dynamically method will only be available for answering Attribute element prompts. Any other selected prompt type will not show such method for answering prompts in the Link editor.
ACTION
In order to have the Answer dynamically option in the Links editor for automatically answering prompts, make sure that the selected prompt type is Element prompt.
