"File not found" error occurs when exporting a report to Excel 2007/2010 in MicroStrategy Developer 9.x with a 3rd party software "Hangul office 2010" installed

SYMPTOM:

Install a 3rd party software "Hangul office 2010" on the same machine running Strategy Developer 9.x, the following error occurs when exporting a report to Excel 2007/2010:


File not found

CAUSE:

This is a known issue with Strategy Developer 9.x.

ACTION:

Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update of this issue.

WORKAROUND:

Downgrade to Hangul office 2007 instead of installing Hangul office 2010.
