KB40815: How to access the MicroStrategy Mobile 9.x and 10.x application settings page on iOS through URL API

Customers have the option, through SDK, to customize their MicroStrategy Mobile applications. Customizations may include removing standard links, such as the buttons for accessing the Settings page. Even if this link has been removed, or cannot be located, there is a method of displaying this page on iOS by using URL API.

Customers have the option, through SDK, to customize their Strategy Mobile applications. Customizations may include removing standard links, such as the buttons for accessing the Settings page. Even if this link has been removed, or cannot be located, there is a method of displaying this page on iOS by using URL API.

  1. On the iOS device, open the Safari browser
  2. In the URL/Address line, type one of these commands:
    • iPad - mstr://?evt=3999
    • iPhone: mstr://?evt=3999
  3. Execute the command by pressing Go/Enter
  4. The Strategy Mobile settings page will appear automatically, allowing you to modify/view these settings, as exampled:
