SYMPTOM:
A user receives the error message shown below when exporting to Excel using Internet Explorer for Strategy Web 9.2.1. This message appears in a browser window along with the XML data for the report.

CAUSE
It has been found that this issue can be caused by a setting in Internet Explorer and not by Strategy Web 9.x.
ACTION:
Enable "automatic prompting for file downloads" in the Internet Explorer security settings.
