KB409505: Using the promptsAnswerXML parameter to answer prompts does not answer the prompts in MicroStrategy Mobile.

SYMPTOM:
 
Users have the ability to answer prompts in URL API using the parameter promptsAnswerXML.

This functionality will automatically answer prompts when put into a URL API call to navigate from one prompted report or document to a new report or document with the same prompts in Strategy Web 9.4.1.  However, in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 update 3, the prompts are not answered when the target document is executed.  The user is forced to answer the prompts, as seen in the image below.
 
 

 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create a prompted report with the attributes Category, Subcategory, and Item and the metric Profit.
2. Add attribute element prompts for Category and Subcategory to the report.
3. Create a document with this report as a dataset, and add a grid of the data onto the document.
4. Follow the steps in KB18540 to collect the prompts' xml and create the URL to run the document.
5. Create a source document with a text box.
6. Put this URL into the text box as a hyperlink and save the document.
7. Run the source document in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 update 3, and click on the hyperlink
8. Notice that the target document executes, but asks the user for the prompt answers which are expected to be passed automatically.

CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 Update 3.
