When starting MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1 and up, the following error is thrown: "This application failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".

SYMPTOM:
When starting Strategy Developer 9.4.1 and up, the following error is thrown:

This application failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

 
CAUSE:
The file "MSVBVM60.DLL" is missing in the system.
 
ACTION:
Uninstall and re-install Strategy Developer or perform a repair installation of the Strategy Enterprise Suite.
