SYMPTOM
In Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.4.x - 10.x, a service executed is executed to delivery a PDF document but the users do not receive it. Instead, an error similar to the following appears in the DELog:
Document Formatter ID Document Name FormatDocument failed because - -2147023838:Automation error The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

ACTION
Set the Startup Type of the Strategy NC PDF Formatter service to Manual or Automatic.
