SYMPTOM:
In Strategy 9.x, it is noticed that the "Owner" of an Intelligent Cube changes to the user who last updates the cube using Incremental Refresh (IR) report.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE IN TUTORIAL PROJECT:
1. Log in to Strategy Desktop 9.x as ‘Administrator’ user and publish an Intelligent Cube called Q1. Note that the owner of this Intellligent cube is ‘Administrator’ as shown below:
2. Log in to Strategy Desktop 9.x as ‘Architect’ user. Create Incremental Refresh report called IR1 based on Intelligent Cube Q1 as shown below:
3. Execute the Incremental Refresh report IR1.
4. Log in to Strategy Desktop 9.x as ‘Administrator' again. Notice that the owner of Q1 is now ‘Architect’ as shown below:
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy 9.x.
The “Owner” of the Intelligent Cube is the user who publishes it. The current behavior is that the "Owner" changes to the user who last updates the cube using an IR report. This is not expected behavior.
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of this issue.
