SYMPTOM:
Consider that an Intelligent Cube was created from a freeform SQL (FFSQL) report in Strategy Developer 9.x. For a subset report based off such a cube, when adding a metric to the report, the following error occurs:

Sample Code/Error
Cannot add metric <metric_name> to report because of insufficient accessibility to the metric or its dependents.
CAUSE:
Since the Intelligent Cube is based off a FFSQL report, the columns in the metrics being used are managed objects. Strategy Developer 9.x checks for 'Execute' access to the managed column object being used in the metric when adding it to the report, which is not required for regular non-mnanaged metrics.
This is a known issue with Strategy Developer 9.x.
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:
Use Strategy Web to add the metric to the subset report. Alternatively, granting the user adding the metric 'Bypass all objects security access check' privilege allows the user to add the metric from Strategy Developer 9.x.
