When setting the default autostyle for a report template and creating a new report, the autostyle selected is not applied but rather, a "Custom" autotstyle is applied in MicroStrategy Developer 9.x.

SYMPTOM:
 
When setting the default autostyle for a report template and creating a new report, the autostyle selected is not applied but rather, a "Custom" autotstyle is applied.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create custom autostyle
  2. Right-click on the project
  3. My Preferences -> Grid -> General
  4. Set default autostyle
  5. Edit blank report template
  6. Set the newly created autostyle
  7. Save and close
  8. Create new report
  9. Grid Menu -> 'Autostyle Selected'
  10. "Custom" autostyle selected

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy 9.x.
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:
Select another Autostyle, such as "Corporate," then switch back to the desired custom Autostyle.
