KB41697: "The Intelligent Cube must be published before this report can be executed." error occurs in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1 if an Intelligent Cube is clicked and it has not been previously published

SYMPTOM:
When clicking an Intelligent Cube that has not previously been published in Strategy Web 9.4.1, the following error message is returned:
 

Document Execution Failed: One or more dataset reports returned an error. New Intelligent Cube [C9CC5CEC4F2C449894414B95B344D8D7]: (Intelligent Cube (New Intelligent Cube) for locale English (United States) is not published. The Intelligent Cube must be published before this report can be executed. You can publish the cube by Right Mouse Clicking on the cube and selecting republish.Error in Process method of Component: CubeServer, Project Strategy Tutorial, Job 169, Error Code= -2147072488.)

1. In Strategy Developer create an Intelligent Cube with any attributes and metrics.
2. Save and close the Intelligent Cube without publishing
3. In Strategy Web browse to the Cube location and click on the cube

 
CAUSE:
Starting in Strategy 9.4.1 clicking on the Intelligent Cube does not publish the cube but instead creates an analysis from the cube.
 
ACTION:
To resolve this issue the Intelligent Cube must first be published. If the user must publish the Intelligent Cube in Strategy Web for the first time by right clicking the Intelligent Cube and select republish as shown below.

NOTE:
In Strategy 10.x, this no longer occurs, and an error shows prompting the user to publish the cube as seen below:
