SYMPTOM:
When granting user privileges of "OLAP Services", "Report Services" and "Distribution Services" which are under Web Professional, below steps are helpful to check whether it would cost one of the Web Professional named user license in Strategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x.
ACTION:
1.) From Developer > Administration > User Manager > Everyone, create a user and grant the privilege marked as *, ** or *** under user editor as below:
2.) Open License Manager. Under Audit tab, connect to the related project source. Check the "Everyone" group, and click "Audit" as below:
3.) Expend the folder of "Web Professional" and find the user created in step 1. Expend the privilege of the user and it shows that the privilege of "Web document design" and "Web manage document datasets" would cost named user license of "Web Professional" as below:
4.) Back in Developer, uncheck the privilege of "Web document design" and "Web manage document datasets" in user editor and the user would not cost the Web Professional named user license as below:
