Users get the following error when trying to save a WebSearch object to the metadata: "Either the object passed does not exist in metadata or it has been modified since being loaded from metadata. Such objects cannot be moved."

SYMPTOM:

Users get the following error when trying to save a WebSearch object to the metadata:

"Either the object passed does not exist in metadata or it has been modified since being loaded from metadata. Such objects cannot be moved."

An example of what would cause this error:
Sample Code/Error
        WebObjectSource objectSource=factory.getObjectSource();
        WebSearch webSearch=objectSource.getNewSearchObject();
        try {
            webSearch.submit();
            webSearch.setName("MySearch");

            WebObjectInfo woi = (WebObjectInfo)webSearch;
            objectSource.setFlags(woi.getFlags() & ~EnumDSSXMLObjectFlags.DssXmlObjectDefn);
            woi = objectSource.save(woi);

CAUSE:

It is not possible to save a search object directly to the Intelligence Server from Strategy Web or the Web SDK.

ACTION:

This behavior is working as designed.
