The {&Prompt1&} macro does not resolve to attribute description when using URL API to pass selector values from source document to target document while using MicroStrategy Web 9.x

SYMPTOM:
The {&Prompt1&} macro does not resolve to attribute description when using URL API to pass selector values from source document to target document while using Strategy Web 9.x
 
In the screenshot below the user can notice that only attribute IDs are displayed:

In design mode, the highlighted values are passed using {&Prompt1&}:
