The User Merge Wizard does not update users in Strategy Narrowcast 9.x. The users located in the Metadata and Narrowcast Subscription Book are not the same. Narrowcast Subscription Book users may be tied to Strategy users for Authentication and Security purposes. When Strategy users are altered using the User Merge Wizard, the changes are not automatically applied to any Narrowcast Subscription Book users that were associated with the Strategy user. Narrowcast Subscription Book users must be updated manually otherwise errors will be encountered when Narrowcast tries to use the Strategy user for Authentication and Security purposes.
