"An error (-5009: 0x80040801) has occurred while running the setup." error occurs when running MicroStrategy 9.x installation in Windows Operation Systems.

SYMPTOM:
When running Strategy 10.x installation in Windows Operation Systems, error "An error (-5009: 0x80040801) has occurred while running the setup." appears as below:

An error (-5009: 0x80040801) has occurred while running the setup.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Strategy Incorporated.

 
CAUSE:
The Strategy installation file is corrupted.
 
ACTION:
This issue was adverted downloading a new copy of Strategy installation file from Strategy Download Site and perform the installation again.
