KB42452: The option of "expand page-by fields" does not show when changing Delivery Format from "Flash" to other format for file subscription in MicroStrategy Distribution Service

SYMPTOM:
 
The option of "expand page-by fields" does not show when changing Delivery Format from "Flash" to other format for file subscription in Strategy Distribution Service 9.x and 10.x.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
 
 

1. Create a report with "Category" and "Subcategory" on the row, "Cost" on the column, and "Country" on the page-by field.
2. Convert this report to document which is shown as below:

• Go to Homes > Subscribes to> File. In the windows prompted, the option of "expand page-by fields" is shown as below:

• Select "Flash" as the Delivery Format, and the option of "expand page-by fields" disappeared as below:

• Change the Delivery Format back to "HTML" or other format, the option of "expand page-by fields" does not show as below:

 
 
CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue in Strategy Distribution Service 9.x and 10.x.
 
ACTION:
 
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
 
WORKAROUND:
 
Close this windows and create the subscription again without changing the Delivery Format from "Flash" to other format.
