"Maximum Panels Exceeded" error message appears when switching from Design Mode to Freeform SQL Definition in a Freeform SQL Report in Microstrategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x

SYMPTOM
After switching multiple times between Design Mode and Freeform SQL Definition of a Freeform SQL Report the error below is generated. This occurs in Strategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x

Maximum Panels Exceeded

 
CAUSE
This is a known issue with Strategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x
 
ACTION
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
 
WORKAROUND
 
Close the Freeform SQL report and reopen. This will reset the count and allow the Freeform SQL Definition to be accessed.
