SYMPTOM:

When updating the structure of a table in the Warehouse Catalog, the following error appears:

ka04W000000OgwGQAS_0EM440000002Cuy.png

Sample Code/Error
One or more columns were not found in table 'XXX'. Other objects use some of these columns. Removing these columns can leave the affected objects in an inconsistent state. The table structure will not be updated until no objects depend on these columns. Please modify the definition of the affected objects before continuing.

Some columns have been removed from the table. However, none of the removed columns are mapped to the attribute the screenshot refers to.

CAUSE:

One possible cause of this issue is that there is still some internal references to the removed columns which prevent the table structure from being updated. This behavior has been reported in Strategy 9.x, however its root cause is unknown.

ACTION:

Please contact Strategy Technical Support for further assistance.  In order to track down the cause of the inconsistency, customers encountering this issue should make note of Schema-related changes, Object Migrations, or error messages prior to experiencing the problem.  Change Journaling, if it has been enabled, can help in preserving this information.
