KB426030: It fails to pass selector values on iPad against MicroStrategy Mobile iOS 10.7 when the default execution mode of the target report services document is set to PDF

SYMPTOM:
 
Even with “Pass all selector values” enabled in Edit Links, it fails to pass selector values on iPad against Strategy Mobile iOS 10.7 when the default execution mode of the target report services document is set to PDF.
 
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
 

• Create a target report services document and insert an attribute slice selector "Month". Set the default execution mode to PDF.
• Create a source report services document and insert the same attribute slice selector "Month". Edit Links on a text box and choose the target document created in step 1. Set "Pass all selector values" to "Match selectors by source attribute".

• Run the source document in Strategy Web and click on the link. Selector value can be passed to the target document successfully.
• Run the source document on iPad against Strategy Mobile iOS 10.7. It fails to pass the selector value.

 
 
CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue of Strategy Mobile iOS 10.7.
 
ACTION:
 
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
