This article outlines how to set the Strategy app for Android to launch in landscape.
CONTENT:
Some projects for mobile are designed for landscape only, so users may want to launch Strategy app in landscape as well. Currently, there is no such a setting in out-of-box Strategy app for Android but this can be achieved by Strategy Mobile SDK 10.4.
ACTION:
1) Set up the environment to use the Strategy Mobile project
2) Open StrategyMobile in Android Studio
3) Navigate to StrategyMobile -> app -> src > main and open AndroidManifest.xml in editor
4) Add android:screenOrientation="landscape" to the following lines in AndroidManifest.xml
<activity android:screenOrientation="landscape" android:configChanges="orientation|screenSize" android:launchMode="singleTop" android:name="com.Strategy.android.ui.activity.MstrStartupActivity" android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Holo.Light.NoActionBar" android:windowSoftInputMode="stateHidden">
5) Save AndroidManifest.xml

The StrategyMobileLibrary project needs to be imported and compiled successfully before importing the StrategyMobile project.
