SYMPTOM:
The wildcard “!i” used in a Teradata Query Band statement always returns "999" although the Report Priority is set to another value in Strategy 9.x-10.x.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Right click a Report, select Properties and select "Priority".Change the Report Cost from 999 to another value as shown below:

2. Go to Data > VLDB Properties > Pre/Post Statements and insert the following  Pre Statement:

Sample Code/Error
SET QUERY_BAND = 'MSTR_Rep=!o;MSTR_User=!u;MSTR_JobID=!j;MSTR_SessID=!s;MSTR_ProjID=!z;MSTR_Proj=!p;MSTR_RepID=!r; Importance=!i;MSTR_Start=!dT!t;MSTR_VLDB=1;' FOR SESSION;

3. Restart the the Intelligence Server and look at the SQL VIEW of the report .

You will notice that  the SET QUERYBAND statement always returns "SET QUERY_BAND ='Importance=999;' FOR SESSION;" rather than the  Report Cost set in the report.
