SYMPTOM:
In some cases users will need to authenticate with different Strategy users in the same browser instance. By design in Strategy and the browser will not allow this type of workflow to function. Users will lose access to the first session if they attempt to login with a second user.
CAUSE:
This issue is caused because the browser is sharing all session attributes by design.
ACTION:
To resolve this issue users should implement namespacing. The code within Strategy is already available. To implement this users must pass an additional parameter within the URL and persist it. This parameter can be added with an ESM, or for testing purposes this parameter can be manually added. To implement name spacing the user should create two .properties files; ContainerServices.properties and ParameterBuilder.properties. These files should be placed within a plugin directory within the Strategy Web application. Within the plugin the properties files should reside within Web-inf/classes.
Below is an example of an implementation of namespacing using the variable tst as the name space variable defined in the ContainerServices.properties file. The parameter is persisted in the url by defining it in the ParameterBuilder.properties file.
ContainerServices.properties

ParameterBuilder.properties
