This article notes a scenario where extra quotation marks are seen

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy, a metric with cell formatting of ""#,##0.0000" EUR/$" has values displayed as “4.000 EUR/$, - as seen below, an extra double quotation mark is added in front of the value. In Strategy Developer however the metric value is displayed as 4.000 EUR/$.

CAUSE:
This behavior is expected. The two quotation marks at the start of the metric formatting string is seen as an 'escaped ' sequence, the first quotation indicating that the second quotation mark is to be displayed a s a string literal. The output displayed in Strategy Web is expected, whereas the output displayed in Strategy Developer is incorrect.

ACTION:
Users experiencing this issue can change the cell format from Right Mouse-Click>formatting>Metric value>Number>Custom to remove the two quotation marks at the start of the format string.

The action can be performed from either Strategy Developer or Web.
