DESCRIPTION:
"The string contains an untranslatable character. Unable to get catalog string" is seen when trying to run a report with Pre SQL against a Teradata warehouse.

CAUSE:
Check whether this report contains a Pre or Post SQL set in VLDB Property. Teradata databases will throw this error if the Pre/Post SQL contain any long dash '—'.

ACTION:
Remove the long dash '—' and replace it with a short dash '-'.
