In MicroStrategy Mobile 9.x and 10.x new information window modes have been added to create new transitions to tailor how information windows appear. The available information windows modes in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.x and 10.x are Appear, Slide, Flip up and Scale up. (Tablet Devices Only)

In Strategy Mobile 9.x and 10.x new information window modes have been added to create new transitions to tailor how information windows appear. The available information windows modes in Strategy Mobile 9.x and 10.x are the following:

  • Appear: this has traditionally functioned as the default view, but users can now configure it so the information window appears either from above, below, right, left, a fixed position, or just default to the automatic positioning.

  • Slide: Users can decide whether they want the information window to slide in from above, below, right or left.

  • Flip up: This transition animates the information window so that it flips outward from the selected text and becomes larger. When dismissed, the information window gets smaller and flips back down to the text from which it originated.
  • Scale up: This transition animates the information window so that it smoothly grows larger, originating from the selected text. When dismissed, the windows shrinks back down to the text.

The new information windows modes also include a property that controls whether the information window closes automatically or if the user must close it manually by tapping on the ‘Close’ button. To enable these modes, the user needs to access the Panel stack properties and in the General menu select the option "Use as Information Window". Modes 2, 3 and 4 are currently only available in Strategy Mobile for tablet devices only.
