SYMPTOM:
When attempting to run a service in Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.x, the following error message may appear:
USER DOES NOT HAVE PRIVILEGE TO PERFORM OPERATION SELECT ON THIS OBJECT USER.MSTRTRANSPROPS. For more information, please consult DB2 document for error code SQL0551.
Additionally, the service will fail to execute due to the inability to create required temporary tables required for the execution of the Narrowcast service.
CAUSE:
This is due to the database user who is connected to the Subscription Book Repository and Object Repository through Narrowcast Administrator lacking the required permissions to create tables on the DB2 Database.
ACTION:
Contact your DB2 Database Administrator to ensure that the database user that is connecting to the Subscription Book Repository and Object Repository has sufficient privileges.
