KB43065: How to manually modify the project authentication mode after the mobile configuration has been created when using MicroStrategy Mobile 9.x or 10.x

The following steps illustrate how to manually modify the project authentication mode after the mobile configuration has been created.

1. Go to directory where mobile configuration is created, for example in ASP: C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroStrategy\Mobile Server ASPx\WEB-INF\xml\mobile
   
2. Open the mobileConfig########.xml file that needs to be modified
   
3. Locate Tag <pdc and manually modify the default project authentication mode parameter, “am” as seen below.
   

 
The following is the list of authentication modes and the matching integer value.
1: Standard
2: NT
8: Guest
16: LDAP
32: Database
64: Trusted
128: Integrated
