This Knowledge Base article describes "Object with ID xxx and type 55 (Document Definition) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted" error message received when clicking on a link to access a document located in another project in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.x. This is because the project of the target document is not configured in mobile project configuration. Add this project in mobile configuration to resolve this issue.

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Mobile 9.x, the following error message appears when clicking on a link to access a document located in another project:


Error: (Object with ID xxx and type 55 (Document Definition) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.)

In this example, the referred document DOC9 is located in the Strategy Tutorial project, and has a link to the document DOC2 that is located in the My First Project project.

CAUSE:
The My First Project project hadn't been configured in the Connectivity Settings on Mobile Configuration; only the Strategy Tutorial project had been configured, as shown:

ACTION:
1) Configure all missing projects in the Connectivity Settings on Mobile Configuration, in this example the My First Project project.
2) Save and Generate a new URL.
3) Launch the Strategy Mobile App using the new URL to apply the changes.
