SYMPTOM:
When one grid acts a selector of a second grid and a checkbox selector targets both grids, adding in a line object to the document in Editable mode, and making a selection in the first grid to filter the second grid will cause all of the selections in the checkbox selector to become unselected in Strategy Web 9.x.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

CAUSE:
This is working as designed. In Strategy Web 9.x, when the checkbox selector has multiple targets (grid 1, grid2), if the two targets end up having a different set of elements, for example in the above scenario grid 1= All, grid 2= Feb 2010, the checkbox selector no longer represents the selections of all of its targets. Therefore, it deselects all current selections and displays them all as unselected either in slicer or filter modes. However, in slicing mode, the document refreshes automatically as grid 1 makes selections. In filter mode, the document refreshes when the user performs a manipulation such as adding a line object. Since the document refresh is triggered by the addition of the line object, this issue would not occur in Interactive mode.
ACTION:
To prevent this from happening, have the Check box selector target grid 1 only and grid 1 targeting grid 2 only. That way the content in grids 1 and 2 can be different and the check box selector will always represent the content of grid 1, which will prevent it from blanking out.
