A number in square brackets is appended to the document name when it is exported and opened from Web using Internet Explorer

SYMPTOM:
When a document is exported  from Web and opened, instead of saved, using Internet Explorer, a number in square brackets is appended to the document name. Consecutive numbers are appended to subsequent exported and opened documents though the temporary files are cleaned. For instance, DocumentName.ext, DocumentName.ext
 
 
 
CAUSE:
The issue is a known Internet Explorer defect.
 
ACTION:
There is no solution for this behavior.
 
WORKAROUND:
Opening the exported document with a different browser like Firefox or Chrome. Saving the document with Internet Explorer instead of opening it.
