SYMPTOMS:
An error occurs when exporting a PDF using a subscription or distribution service in Strategy Web 10.8.
The following error messages are shown

Failed to display visualization: KPIIconWidget because failed to get pluginsVisList from http://localhost/Strategy
Failed due to: Request URL: http://localhost/MicroStrategy/asp/TaskProc.aspx; Http Status Code:404
Failed to display visualization: GoogleAnnotationChart because failed to get pluginsVisList from http://SHONG-2K8R2-107/Strategy
Failed due to: Error: NETWORK_ERR: XMLHttpRequest Exception 101

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Go to My Reports, and Click "Subscription" icon for any Visualization Dashboard.
2. Choose E-Mail, Add email subscription
3. Choose Delivery format as PDF
CAUSE:
This is not an issue. For subscriptions, New Export Engine since Strategy 10.6 will try to retrieve resources from the default web server because subscriptions are automatically executed by Intelligence Server and there won't be a web server URL sent from Strategy Web.
On Windows, it is ASP hosted by IIS, via http://localhost/MicroStrategy/asp/Main.aspx .
On other OS, it is JSP hosted by tomcat, via http://localhost:8080/MicroStrategy/servlet/mstrWeb .
The property exporter.web.url must be modified if the web server URL is changed.
ACTION:
1. Open <Strategy Root Directory>/Intelligence Server/PDFExportService/application.properties.
2. Modify exporter.web.url. The URL should be the Strategy Web that you currently use.
It is something like http://localhost:8080/MicroStrategy/servlet/mstrWeb for tomcat,
or http://localhost/MicroStrategy/asp/Main.aspx for IIS. KB438714
