SYMPTOM:
Collaboration Server is in the “paused” state and it returns the following error when users check the status of Collaboration Server using the URL http://<collaboration server ip>:3000/status.
“The Following dependent services are unavailable: Auth Server”
CAUSE:
A possible cause of the problem is that “authorizationServerUrl” in config.json is pointing to an incorrect Strategy Library URL. “config.json” can be found at “<Strategy installation folder>/Collaboration Server/”.
When Collaboration Server starts up, it connects to the URL set in the “authorizationServerUrl” parameter. The URL should be the one on which Strategy Library is running. Collaboration Server cannot be started if the URL is incorrect.
ACTION:
Users can check the “authorizationServerUrl” parameter in config.json and update the URL properly. A sample URL: http://MSTRLibraryDomain:<port>/MicroStrategyLibrary/api
