This Knowledge Base article describes how when using google analytics with a data set containing emojis, you can encounter the following error message "UnicodeValueToWideChar:InvalidUNICODE value".

SYMPTOM
When using google analytics with a data set containing emojis you can encounter the following error message, "UnicodeValueToWideChar:InvalidUNICODE value" when the data set is being uploaded to Strategy. This is demonstrated in the screenshot below while in web:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Upload to MicoStrategy a google analytics dataset with an emoji as shown below:

ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 10.11 and 10.4 HF7. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of this fix. KB39250 KB439250
