KB43927: The URL link of a report or an object copied from "Show Links" does not include Server and Project parameters when accessing MicroStrategy Web by URL API with Windows Authentication

In MicroStrategy Web, when accessing MicroStrategy Web by URL API with Windows Authentication, copy the URL of a report or a Report Services document or a Folder using "Show Links" function, note that in the copied URL, the parameters "Server=" and "Project=" are not included.

SYMPTOM:
 
In Strategy Web 9.3.0, when accessing Strategy Web by URL API with Windows Authentication, copy the URL of a report or a Report Services document or a Folder using "Show Links" function, note that in the copied URL, the parameters "Server=" and "Project="  are not included.
 
CAUSE:
 
This is known issue in Strategy Web 9.3.0.
 
ACTION:
 
In Strategy Web 9.3.1, a new feature "Share" is introduced to make it easier to share a URL link. Refer to the following technical note in Strategy Knowledge Base for more details:

Take advantage of upgrading for a fix.
 
WORKAROUND:
 
Take one of following approaches to resolve this issue:
 
1. Copy object's URL under Standard authentication mode;
2. Manually add "Server=" and "Project=" parameters to the copied URL link.
