KB439295: ‘Export to Excel’ option is not available for a VI dashboard converted to a document in MicroStrategy 10.x

SYMPTOM
After converting a VI Dashboard to a document, the ‘Export to Excel’ option is not available when executing the document:

CAUSE
The ‘Export to Excel’ option is disabled by default in converted documents.
ACTION
To enable ‘Export to Excel’ option, navigate to Tools à Document Properties à Document and enable Excel export format under Run Modes section:

Save the document.
Then execute the document again. The option will appear in available export modes:
