Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM
An Attribute in a Dossier is not visible to others who has access permission to after it has been executed by user who has no access permission to it in Strategy Web 10.10
SPTES TO REPRODUCE
Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue in Tutorial:
1.Create a new user a with all Web privileges, and set Denied All for a to attribute Promotion.
2.Login to Web with user administrator, create a dataset G1 with Promotion and Promotion Type.
3.Create a new Dossier with dataset G1, drag Promotion Type to Rows in grid visualization and save it.
4.Login to Web with user a and run the Dossier saved in step3, note that Promotion is not visible to user a which is correct per permission settings.
5.Login to Web with user administrator and run the Dossier saved in step3, note that Promotion is not visible to user administrator now.
CAUSE
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 10.10
ACTION
Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
