KB439728: Hierarchical Prompts failing with error "The element net server was unable to load an element collection from the element server due to a failure."

SYMPTOMS
When trying to add a heirarchical prompt in Web the error message "The element net server was unable to load an element collection from the element server due to a failure." is encountered as demonstrated below:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In Tutorial change the Category ID form: Column alias to Big Integer
2. Create a hierarchy prompt with product hierarchy
3. Create a report with this hierarchy prompt
4. Run the report in Web, answer the prompt, click on Category the error occurs.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 10,5 and 10.4 HF4. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of this fix.
WORKAROUND
The issue is not encountered in Developer.
