This knowledge base article describes the feature which is not presently available in MicroStrategy Library application.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
In Strategy Mobile app, you can add annotations, such as comments and freehand drawings, to a screenshot of your dashboard, and share the annotated screenshot with your contacts.

To annotate and share reports and documents on an iPad
      1.  In Strategy Mobile, open a report or document you want to annotate and share.

  1. In the top-right corner, tap the Menu button . The context menu opens.
  2. Tap Annotate and Share. A screenshot of the dashboard opens.
  3. You can annotate the screenshot in the following ways:
    • To draw shapes freehand, use your finger.
    • To add a comment to your drawing, tap the drawing, then tap Add Comment. A comment box is displayed, which allows you to enter text.
    • To add a comment anywhere in the screenshot, in the top right of the screen, tap the Add Comment icon . A comment box is displayed.
    • To move the comment box, tap, hold, and drag the box around the screen.
    • To resize the comment box, tap, hold, and drag the corners of the box.

To email, save, or print the annotated screenshot, tap the Action button
, then select the appropriate action.
CAUSE:
But in Strategy Library application, this feature is not available as a new collaboration feature has been introduced.
ACTION:
If users need this feature, please log an enhancement request via Idea Exchange so have it reviewed by product team.
WORKAROUND:
In iOS 11, there is a new feature which can do the same. Instant Markup is a feature that allows essentially anything on the iPad to be annotated using the Apple Pencil.
Taking a screenshot, for example, now brings up a small icon in the corner of the screen, and a tap on the icon opens up a Markup interface where the screenshot can be edited using simple drawing tools. A similar feature is available for all kinds of other documents through a new "Markup Through PDF" Share Sheet option that converts any document into a PDF and then opens up Markup. Anything that can be printed can use the "Markup Through PDF" feature.
