SYMPTOM:
In some user scenario, it's required to remove "Shared reports" and "Projects" in M icon menu:
It can be achieved by commenting out related paragraph in pageConfig.xml. However it is recommend to create a plugin to maintain this modification using web SDK.
SOLUTION:
Create a plugin and modify PageConfig.xml inside the plugin:
1. In WCE, create a new plugin
2. Go to Pages>-1(Default page), double click or right mouse click and select "Open in Editor"
3. In Template Properties tab, click on "Edit Shortcuts"
4. In the pop-up dialog, choose "Select Individual Shortcuts", then uncheck "Shared Reports" to remove it.
5. Save the plugin in eclipse, and there will be a new plugin under web path.
6. Browse into the plugin folder, go to plugins\<plugin name>\WEB-INF\xml, and edit PageConfig.xml
7. Add a shortcut list as Projects. The file looks like below:

8. Restart web server and clear browser cache. See the 2 items are removed successfully.
