KB439837: Some of the content is not translate into Russian language when using Dossier in MicroStrategy version 10.9

When choosing Russian language under "Web Preferences > Language" in Web some of the new strings do not get translated when using Dossier in MicroStrategy version 10.9 and 10.10. While MicroStrategy Web still exposes Russian as a supported language under "Web Preferences > Language".

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Go to Preferences > General > Language and change the language to Russian.
- Apply changes to all projects on the current Strategy Intelligence Server and click save
 
- Create “New Dossier”
 
- Observe that there are missing translations in some of the part of the Dossier

CAUSE
The issue is a defect that has been reproduced using 10.9 and 10.10. It is related to the uncertain situation of the Russian language which may be not supported in the interfaces. For more information about the current status of the issue please contact Technical Support.
