KB44000: Certain privileges listed in the User Editor or Group Editor display as "N/A" for each project in MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x.

Stefan Zepeda

Salesforce Solutions Architect • Strategy

In MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x, certain privileges listed in the User Editor or Group Editor display as "N/A" for each project.

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x, certain privileges listed in the User Editor or Group Editor display as "N/A" for each project.
Rather than showing if project access is granted or not, some privileges show as "'N/A' - Not applicable per project":

CAUSE:
This is working by design. The 'N/A' does not mean that a privilege cannot be given to the User or Group being edited, but simply that these privileges are applied to all projects within the project source. These privileges can not be defined on a per project basis.
