“Error: Job xxx can not be found in server. It may have exceeded the limit of maximum job execution time, or prompt waiting time, or be canceled. Please try again.” error visible in Developer or Web when running a prompted report

SYMPTOM
A user is running a prompted report in Strategy Developer. The report does execute at times, but sometimes provides an error message:
“Error: Job 1495 can not be found in server. It may have exceeded the limit of maximum job execution time, or prompt waiting time, or be canceled. Please try again.”
Additionally, in DSSErrors.log the following can be found:

2018-01-11 13:29:51.914+03:00 [HOST:xxx][SERVER:CastorServer][PID:5524][THR:6192][Kernel][Error] [Strategy Tutorial][mstr][JobID=1495] (The prompt waiting time limit set in Strategy Intelligence Server has been exceeded for job 1495: at (10:29:51:912 GMT). The job was cancelled.Job 1495 canceled.)

CAUSE
One possible cause of this error message is when the prompted report reaches the execution time limit set in Governing rules on the project level.
ACTION
To avoid this from happening to adjust Intelligence Server Elapsed Time (sec) for Interactive reports to a greater value.
