This Knowledge Base article describes how users may be getting the error Cannot read property 'children' of undefined when using incremental loads on transaction service documents and the fix associated with the error message.

SYMPTOM
When opening a transaction services in Strategy Web the following error is shown:
Cannot read property 'children' of undefined
Although the error message in DSSErrors.log file indicates Query Engine problem, yet we are able to export documents with correct results in Developer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Using a document which contains the change in the incremental fetch value on it and is a copy of the original transactions document from tutorial with Strategy 10.10:
1. Run the transaction services document mentioned above and see:
Cannot read property 'children' of undefined
2. The issue is triggered, when you have Incremental fetch enabled, count by individual rows and the Rows per page is lower than the maximum rows expected to show. For the example in tutorial, if you set the rows to "5", it will fail as we were expecting to have "8" rows.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 10.11. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of this fix KB440443
