KB440768: "Error while retrieving data loads" appears in Command Manager when manipulating data loads

Enterprise Manger Data Loader service must be running to perform data load related operations.

Symptom


Following error messages are being displayed in Command Manager when listing, altering or creating a data load:
"Syntax is correct"
"Error while retrieving data loads"
"Tasks(s) execution completed with errors"

Cause


This issue occurs when Strategy Enterprise Manger Data Loader is turned off.

Action


Turn on the Enterprise Manager Data Loader service and attempt again
