KB440937: How to grand total without level in a level metric in MicroStrategy Developer

This article is about to introduce how to grand total without level in a level metric in Strategy Developer. Normally when user grant totals under a level metric, system will calculate the totals by level. Below steps introduce the way to grant totals under a level metric by ignoring the level.

1. Create custom metric Revenue_Pecent_without Level (without level) , and metric Revenue_Pecent_with Category Level (with level).
2. Create custom subtotals to sum up metric Revenue_Pecent_with Category Level, and enable the subtotal in metric Revenue_Pecent_without Level.  
3. Create the report with metric Revenue_Pecent_without Level  and use the custom subtotals in Step2
4. The highlight part in "Pic1" is the target metric the user want to create.
