SYMPTOM
If it is opened multiple documents, generally over 10 browser tabs this error message is going to pop-up.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a document with a simple grid
2. Enable configuration to refresh the document in every 30 seconds. Document Properties > Advanced > refresh (Presentation Mode and Mobile Client Only)
3. Save the document
4. Copy the same document 12 times.
5. Open each document 12 times.
6. You will see that 2 random documents get the error message "The task cannot be completed due to a malformed request. Please try again"
CAUSE
This is a known issue in Strategy Strategy 10.4
ACTION
Increase the value in Web Preference > Project Defaults > History List "If manually, how many of the most recently run reports and documents do you want to keep available for manipulation: " as the screenshot.
The value will depend on how many documents you want to open at the same time. In this article example, it should be a value higher than 12.
