KB441293:In MicroStrategy Web 10.11, all text fields are displayed in Bold if Arial Font is used in Internet Explorer

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Web 10.11, all text is displayed Bold if Arial Font is used.
 
The image below shows the text bolded when Arial Font is used and Bold formatting IS enabled.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow these steps to reproduce the issue in a Strategy Tutorial Project:

1. Create a new Dossier in Strategy Web 10.11 in Internet Explorer and add an attribute to the Grid.
2. Ensure that Arial font is used.
3. Ensure that bold is NOT enabled.
4. Note that all text in the Dossier is bolded although the Bold formatting is not enabled.

 
CAUSE:
This is an identified defect in Strategy Web 10.11.
 
ACTION:
Currently this issue is being reviewed by Strategy for a potential code fix on an upcoming Strategy release.
